I was attempting to format my 2 micro SD cards on my MAC. Well, I ended up formatting the entire device on both systems. I cannot get my MAC to recognize the devices, I tried to download the base software. I contacted Garmin support, they stated these are nothing but boat anchors now. I am having a hard time believing these cannot be restored. I know it was an idiotic mistake on my part, but again, I just can't believe there is no solution. Having a hard time throwing them in the trash. Looking for affirmation these are now trash. I told the tech I have system backups going back to 2015, he said it still would not recognize either unit.
