Basecamp crashing

Each time I right click a route and click recalculate, Basecamp crashes. I am using an updated Mac and have the latest Basecamp. Looking at the multitude of issues, surely a Company like Garmin should have a program to support their units

Unfortunately Garmin has practically ZERO support for Basecamp. A severe data loss bug has been in Basecamp for years and they don't care.

Thanks, but have tried a reinstall. I do get an error but seems far too long to post on here. As soon as I click recalculate it looks as if it will do it as in you see the % bar but then crashes, gives…

Well generally it doesn't. Try uninstalling BaseCamp and then reinstall it. If that doesn't help do you get any error messages?

As soon as I click recalculate it looks as if it will do it as in you see the % bar but then crashes, gives an error log and asks if you want to restart the program. If I do, then the whole process starts again

Try creating a new user and install a fresh copy of BC for that user only. This will tell you if there are corrupt preferences or other support files in your original user space.
