Map

When I go into base camp and try to view tracks that I have saved, I am unable to view any map details. All I see is an outline of the track and no topographic features including contour lines and surrounding areas. This problem has only surfaced in the last week after upgrading my Apple Mac to MacOS Monteray version 12.2.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Do you have maps installed for BaseCamp to use? It sounds like you're just seeing the basic map supplied with BaseCamp. If you're sure you do have you selected an appropriate map in BaseCamp?

Thanks. That makes sense. I have some photos which show what I see in Basecamp.

Looks like you only have the Global Map installed which has very little detail. You should install City Navigator Australia/New Zealand. Use Garmin Express to download it to both your device and the Mac. I upgraded to the latest Monterey and Basecamp wasn't affected.

Agreed, that's the issue but even with the CN map the OP won't get the contours etc he requires. He'll need a topo map for that.
