I have a Mac M1 and 4.8.12 definitely improved 2D rendering. It went from nearly unusable to "meh". 3D is much much more fluid and faster, but 3D rendering kinda stinks because it isn't visually as helpful…

After update to 4.8.12 on my both Macs (Intel and M1) map rendering problem is fixed

To be precise it was not solved just after updating but need to reset Basecamp to factory defauls. Then after restart all was OK.

It went from nearly unusable to "meh". 3D is much much more fluid and faster, but 3D rendering kinda stinks because it isn't visually as helpful as 2D mode and the colors of the routes get kinda muddy and blocky sometimes. I'd much rather work in 2D mode for this reason.

Would REALLY love to see an M1 compilation happen for BaseCamp. Please?
