navigator shows up twice in base camp

my Navigator show up as two devices in BaseCamp ?? and my maps will not fully update

Any suggestions ?

Do you have a sd card installed?

Check the Garmin folder on your device and ensure it doesn't contain a file named GarminDevice.xml

If there is then delete it.

removing that file did remove the second device. i then rebooted and it came back.. Thank you still more digging to do

Well that wouldn't happen with Garmin devices, maybe there is something about the Navigator devices that creates that file on the sd card as well as the device?
