Garmin Zumo XT firmware 6.10 map download

Still ongoing issues downloading maps directly to Mac, anybody any updates?

I’ll contact Garmin today and see what that say, the XT is just unworkable when using maps directly off the unit.

Nothing new here - Garmin is still working on it (as they say...)...

I contacted Garmin UK this morning, they say they’ll have the fix at the end of May, keep an eye out for updates on express and device firmware,he also said you’ll still need to close express before using basecamp.

I'm having same issue - XT VERY reluctant to connect to MacBook, when it does it downloads updates etc, however when attempting to download Maps to/for BaseCamp, it gets stuck at 6% and Garmin Express seems to lock up, clicking on Home does nothing although menu bar still accessible.

Did anyone fine a fix/workaround?

Yes, meets all of the above requirements.

Actually, I misread the screen - it's not stuck at 6%, it shows Rate: 6.0Mb/s but no progress at all...

Both Percent Complete and Time Remaining are blank.

Looks like something in your system is preventing the download, best bet will be to call Garmin so they can do some detailed troubleshooting

It appears that even though I uninstalled and re-installed Garmin Express YESTERDAY from the link on the website, the version that's on there is out of date - I was running 7.8.00, current version is 7.9.00.

Have just updated and it's working fine so far...
