How do I install additional maps I purchased to my Mac for BaseCamp

Hi there, Community,

I am from Quebec (Canada, North America) and I recently purchased Europe City Navigator maps for my Zumo XT (from Garmin and all...). All is fine with my GPS and with BaseCamp when my Zumo is connected. But it's slow as.......

So I wanted to install maps (just like I did with my default maps that came with my Zumo) but I can't find the right recipe.

Can someone please guide me through the proper step?

In all logic, there has to be a way.

Additional maps cannot be installed for BaseCamp. That will have been mentioned when you bought the map. You can though copy the maps to a virtual drive so BaseCamp can read them from there www.javawa.nl/virtualdevice.html

Hmmm... If it was, it was far from being self-explanatory. I'd like Garmin to explain what is the licencing difference... I wonder.
