Custom Icons Too Small in Basecamp

I followed the Garmin instructions to a T: https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=0c2IHhAhvg6ttRP3u7yZ46

Yet, they are coming in too small and blurry when used in basecamp. How do I export these PNGs or BMPs in a way that will look the same as the default icons? In this screenshot, you can see the two icons side by side: https://d.pr/i/qZavfF

I have tried exporting the icons larger, but nothing helps. Any guidance?

P.S. I am using:
• Macbook Pro
• OS Big Sur 11.2.1 (the latest)
• Basecamp Version 4.8.11 (the latest)
• BMW Nav 6 (although this has nothing to do with Icons in Basecamp, yet)

Same here on my Mac and BC 4.8.11. I edited one of the Garmin Waypoint icons in Photoshop, which was 48x48 pixels not 32x32, as saved it to a BMP and got the same thing. It is displayed smaller. I exported 32x32 and the original 48x48 BMP files and they were displayed the same in Basecamp.
