These warnings at waypoints have suddenly stopped sounding. Tones are on in settings, and I have selected the tone I prefer. It does still do the end waypoint warning. BTW I'm right over each of the waypoints, when they don't sound. It's not a major handicap, just annoying.
I don't want to do a full reset of the unit, (would be a complete reset would be a last resort), as it was set up for hiking by the UK company that sold the unit, which specialises in GPX training, and there's a lot of settings that they have customised for me.
I had a little bit of weird behaviour in the past from the unit when the memory was full of stored routes and tracks, I transferred those to basecamp and the unit seemed to be back to normal.
