Can't install purchased maps in Basecamp Mac

I just bought (download option) a Spain Topo Map for my Fenix 6. I also wanted to have it on my Basecamp but in Garmin Express I can't see the option of installing it to the Mac computer.

It's really silly that, after purchasing a map I have to connect the device to see it in Basecamp.

Am I missing anything?

No, downloaded maps cannot be installed for BaseCamp to use, it's explained where you downloaded the map from in the Garmin webpages. However see here for a way to enable you to install the map to your mac for BaseCamp to use by creating a virtual drive:
