    Garmin, can you please release an update to make Basecamp work in Big Sur.

    Garmin, can you please provide an estimate as to when this will be fixed?

    The devices need these softwares to get the full experience.

    We're looking into this issue.

    As a workaround for the time being, utilizing 3D maps should allow BaseCamp to run as normal. This is done by selecting View from the top toolbar, then Show/View 3D Map Only.

    What is the timeline for getting this fixed for 2D? There are posts at least 3 months old on this forum on the issue, and Garmin would have had access to the Big Sur developer beta since July, so Garmin has already had quite some time to test and fix. I'm holding off on updating one of my Macs only because of BaseCamp. All other software I have has received updates for Big Sur compatibility, including the Fujitsu scanner which is normally the reason upgrades to the latest macos are delayed for me.

    Locking this thread as there are too many about the same issue. Garmin acknowledge the issue and the workaround is to use 3D map view until a fix is issued.
