I have been having this issue for over a year and with every update i hope it gets solved but nope.
Somewhat hard to explain without showing like a video of it.
But when i select a track to send to my Montana, i select the option to install the map portion as well.
This brings up MapInstall and the actual map portion on the screen (CA and NV) will actually blink or flash on/off.
I can select the whole map and install it (ie: 2Gb worth of maps) but if i want to do a custom install and deselect all but 4 of the map portions, Basecamp usually quits on me.
I have gotten it to install here and there, but its usually a nightmare.
Sometimes i just try it with MapInstall as a stand alone after i have sent the tracks through Basecamp and quit Basecamp.
But I have no clue why the map blinks / flashes.
My Mac is a maxed out late 2013 iMac on i believe Catalina. But this has been an issue for a long time it seems.
I eventually get it to work but its a nightmare.
Just wondering if anyone has ever had this sort of issue.
I can't narrow it down to anything. I have been using Basecamp and Macs forever.
I have tried every older version and combo to try to get this fixed.
Maybe a graphics card issue or something? No idea.
I guess i should try this at work on a different computer.
Any suggestions?
