Basecamp freezes constantly

Hi,

I downloaded Basecamp and when I run it, it is basically unusable. The UI freezes constantly for around 20 seconds then it becomes responsive for 1s and and then again unresponsive.

I have the latest version of Catalina and the latest version of Basecamp (from the AppStore).

Was this app ever tested on macOS? I see many other users with issues.

Uninstall the app store copy - it has some known issues with the way Apple does its sandboxing, etc. Download directly from Garmin. Good Luck...

I run it on a MacBook pro with the latest version of Catalina - no freezes. I know it doesn't help you but at least you know now it is something you will hopefully resolve.
