Basecamp 4.8.9 not (yet) compatible with Edge 1030 plus

Basecamp seems not to work with the new Edge 1030 device:

- GPX files are written into the wrong "GPX" folder

- basecamp does not load maps from the device

Any idea how to get this working?

Compatibility with Basecamp for the Edge 1030 plus is getting fixed in the next software update for the Edge 1030 Plus. We currently have a beta software available for the Edge which contains the fix. You can download and install it here: https://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=15397

The download documents "reliable, not yet released for production" ; Do you have a rough idea when a 'production' version will be released (weeks/months)? Installing the beta and then the production version is expected to be a fluent process?

My Basecamp is not connecting in windows to the 1030 Edge, similar situation, different software, Dec 10, 2020.

Should all this work now?
