Where has the zoom and details slider gone? And how do I get it back?

This appears to be another UI issue for Garmin Basecamp. I have the latest version 4.8.9 on macOS 10.15.6. The details and zoom slider dialogue (and directions, I guess) has disappeared and I haven't thus far been able to find a key combination that gets it back.

Any ideas?

Try Option/Command/B or View/Show Navigation Controls on the menu bar.

Duh (on my part). I am disappointed that I missed that :-) Not sure how it got turned off. It is also interesting that the screen was indicating something was there, but just not the -- now I realize -- "Navigation Controls".
