Basecamp crashes/freezes when trying to export a GPX file

Good evening,

I'm trying to export a small collection of tracks and waypoints using the export function under the file menu. When I do this basecamp freezes and I have to force quit to exit the program.

I've tried rebooting my system and the issue is still present

MAC O/S Catalina 10.15.4

Basecamp version 4.8.8

and I"m trying to export the file as a GPX v1.1 file type

This has been bugging me too, and I fond that if you change the folder a couple of times from within the 'Export' dialogue it mostly works. For example, if you're intending to export the data to Desktop…

This has been bugging me too, and I fond that if you change the folder a couple of times from within the 'Export' dialogue it mostly works. For example, if you're intending to export the data to Desktop and the Export dialogue opens at Desktop, change it to Downloads, Documents, then back to Desktop. Each time I do this I'm able to export successfully, where before it would freeze up as you described.
