OSM maps to zumo396.cannot transfer routes from basecamp

Are you using the same map in BaseCamp? Is the relevant map selected on your Zumo and no other map also selected?

Yes, same map, and I can see the map on the zumo display, follow it, and it's the only one selected. What I can see is that the activity profiles are not working the same on basecamp and zumo. I have the dirt bike selected on basecamp that does not exist on zumo. What I found as a workaround is in basecamp,use task launcher/manage your device/ edit transfer settings/, and disable "Always match route to the map on my device when transfering"

Also, on basecamp, under devices/zumo396, I don't see the OSM map, only City navigator, that is built in.

Well that's the problem, BaseCamp isn't using the same map. You can make that map visible in BaseCamp, as not all maps are automatically, using JaVaWa's Device Manager www.javawa.nl/jdm_en.html

Sorry, you said under your device in BaseCamp you didn't see the OSM map so I assumed that's where you were trying to read it from.  However depending on how you installed the map into BaseCamp it and/or your device may think it's a different map. I'd try setting the map on your device so it's visible in BaseCamp using Device Manager and then use that map to see if the error still occurs.

I fixed some errors with javawa, and working on it now... still don't see OSM on /devices/zumo 396 in BaseCamp...

Ok, got it displaying.... maybe I should just go ride, I deserved it... and keep checking later on....
