Basecamp and maps not working

Hi!

I am just installing software to the new Garmin Fenix 6. Everything is working ok so far, except that I'm having issues with Catalina 10.15.4 and BaseCamp 4.8.8
I got the connection between Fenix & Macbook working finally after realizing that Garmin Express and BaseCamp are not able to run simultaneously.

But the issue I am having with is the maps, that I would like to getvisible in Basecamp. Basecamp only downloaded some parts of the pre installed maps,
and I am not able to get the upload running on again due to many attempts.

I have re-installed Basecamp and cleared all the library files, booted Mac and have all the latest updates for Fenix. Are there still some file directories I should still remove, that keep directing to these "Valid Chart Product Not Found" -instances? These are only the same preloaded maps that come with the new watch, all should be ok and uncorrupted files.

Any helping advise to get Basecamp and maps running?

Thanks in advance!

  • BaseCamp doesn't download any maps from your device, what it does is index them on first use so BaseCamp can read them from your device.  If it's reporting file not found it's either not fully indexed it from your device, which can take a while, or it doesn't exist on your device. It could also be an issue with your watch.
