BaseCamp not importing KML, KMZ, or GPX files

BaseCamp is not importing any file types. I am trying to import KMZ files, but it is only importing one single track out of the whole file. I converted the KMZ file to a GPX file, and am staring at the file in XCode, but BaseCamp won't import anything. Help! I need this function.

I may be wrong but I don't think BaseCamp will import multiple routes in one kmz file. If it's not importing the gpx file then there is something wrong with the file.

All of my .kmz files (on my iMac) are Garmin Custom Maps, not files that contains tracks. All of the files I have that contain multiple tracks are .gpx files. And all of the files I have that contain multiple waypoints are .kml files. Am I missing something?
