I've seen a decent amount of activity here lately, but rarely do I see solutions or planned software development and improvement provided here by actual Garmin employees. It has become clear that Garmin feels that the small percentage of users in the Macintosh market is easily ignored. If one of you from Garmin would reply here, I would greatly appreciate it.
My dilemma has to do with the inability of BaseCamp for Mac (yes, even the latest v4.8.6) to read Garmin's own LakeVu g2 map data, combined with the discontinuation of HomePort at v2.3.0 (which IS able to read that chart's data) without it being developed into a 64-bit app. Upgrading to macOS 10.15 Catalina will kill all opportunity to use that map data on the iMac.
