I have coordinates in deg/min/sec but i cant figure how exactly how to enter the numbers.
Bit more information needed. What are you trying to enter? What's going wrong when you try?
Basecamp supports many formats of coordinates and they can be just copied to the search bar on the top right, Then press enter and it will show the popup where you can click to just show it on the map or to make a waypoint.
I suspect the issue is more to do with what the OP is entering, but as he hasn't come back we'll probably never know
