Choosing a new library in BaseCamp

I have used DropBox for years to sync 3 Macs. I am setting up a MacBook Air and wanted to use the choose library to select the dropbox BaseCamp folder database and avoid the terminal commands. The extension must be different because I can choose a library in the Dropbox BaseCamp folder. Any suggestion?

The databases are still, your_name.bclibrary as far as I know. The "bclibrary" is a Mac OS "container" or special folder.

I just created a symbolic link on the new computer the BaseCamp folder I have used for years in DropBox. I think to use Choose New Library you have to create a new library ith the default extension .bclibrary and import your data.

Just select the New Database option and set the location to your Dropbox, then the next window you will see is,

...Press Yes and you have a "new" Lib with the proper .bclibrary container. Then just change your other installations to point to that Library via the "Change Library" function.
