A possible explanation for the crashes at BaseCamp 4.8.3, or not?

Hi there, my euphoria is gone, the new BaseCamp version for MacOS works fine, but BaseCamp crashes are unavoidable - at least for me as a "mouse user":

From an old habit, I use my MacBook Pro almost always with an Apple Magic Mouse 2 (for all "non-Mac users: their surface reacts to various strokes such as a trackpad ...) and the Touch Track Pad only in exceptional cases. Therefore, I didn’t realize immediately that by unintentional increased zooming base camp "passed" and with error message to send back open. The "zooming behavior" results from the fact that when unintentional swipe on the Magic Mouse with the finger the respective started map is zoomed and the "overwhelmed" evidently Base Camp.

Since I was almost always able to provoke such a crash while using the mouse but was able to work properly when using the track pad, I switched back to 4.6.3. This small version is therefore for info for "mouse users".

Greetings ???? Hans

PS: The "zoom phenomenon" I experience, for example. also with „Radroutenplanern“, also there the application „stops and stand still„ now and then, therefore I use here "forced" only the track pad.
