Printing a scale of 1:50000 or 1:24000

I read posts that this option would be working on in 2013. We are now 2018, is it possible to print a map with a scale of 1:24000?

BaseCamp will print any map

Care to explain how to set the scale 1:24 000 with UTM grid so I can use a protractor on the paper?

Unfortunately not... I agree it would be absolutely helpful if it would be possible to set the zoom/print level according to a user-defined scale (e.g. 1:20 000 or whatever you need). Would make basecamp a really powerful tool, also for offline trip planning. This said, I would be happy to know if anyone found a way of defining a fixed scale level in Basecamp.
