I just bought a 2589lmt. I also bought a 64gb micro SD card for it. When I export routes designed in basecamp to the 2589 hard drive they transfer over just fine, however when I try to export the exact same route by selecting the SD drive location to the installed SD card, the routes do not show up in my 2589’s trip planner app or anywhere else on the gps. What is going wrong? Could it be a 64gb SD won’t work at all in the 2589 or is something else wrong? Thank you.
The card won't work as it needs to be formatted as FAT32, and 64 Gb cards aren't by default. In your device 16Gb should be ample, those cards are FAT32.
