When planning trips I notice you can split a route at a certain point. Quite useful when using previous planned routes to create new ones. But is there a way to merge/join two or more routes into one?
The software draws the route based on the waypoints you put in the route. Just copy the waypoints from the other route/routes and paste them into the first route. You will have to arrange them back into the correct order with the up and down arrows on the right side of the route properties tab.
I actually found a way to do it, you create a new empty route and then drag route 1 + route 2 + route 3 etc to the empty route and it merges all those routes into one without having to copy any waypoints (in fact I usually don't use waypoints because I draw the routes the way I want to go)...
Well after watching the video, this is what the old version I used on the PC looked like. The current version of Basecamp 4.7.0 on the MAC does not have the same options. You will see this in the screenshots from my PDF.
