Basecamp and FIT 2.0 protocol (Garmin Edge 820)

Hello,

Basecamp does not work with the new FIT 2.0 protocol.
An update would be great!

As far as I'm aware BaseCamp is not being developed further, so it is what it is. Would be nice if someone from Garmin could say otherwise, but from replies to other enquiries that's the picture at the moment.

There is a comparatively simple way (at least for now, may not work with future FW upgrades) to downgrade the FIT 2 files to protocol Version 1.

Check out Kiyokazu Suto's great "fitsed" utility (based on his Garmin::FIT perl module):

fitsed -force_proto_ver1 1 input-file output-file
