Delete maps

Can someone please advise HOW to DELETE old map versions from within BaseCamp (so they remove from the harddrive to free-up space) ?

WHY isn't this options more intuitive & easy within the app, like under the Maps menu??????

Control Panel, Uninstall ... like lots of stuff in Windows ;)
But ... this is the Mac forum ;)

Hello,
I am using Garmin Mapmanager.
(http://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=3825)
When you open it you point the map you want to get rid off, right click > delete .
Or the map manager…

Hello,
I am using Garmin Mapmanager.

When you open it you point the map you want to get rid off, right click > delete .
Or the map manager from the same panel show the location of the maps
user/library/application support/Garmin/maps/XXXX.gmap with the finder you go there and select and delete the unwanted map.
Empty the basket. At the next start the available space is updated. By default the User/library is hidden see mac forum if needed.

Unbelievable, this works on my Windows PC with Garmin Basecamp!!
should have been offered within Garmin basecamp software!
