ReCalculating routes

I have really enjoyed my Nuvi 3597LM up until I got the last two maps updates. Starting with NT 2017.2 BaceCamp and the Nuvi started having map errors that took you off course for few miles and then back to the correct route. With very little use, I have verified three times the Nuvi has taken me off route onto a side road with a route being loaded from BaseCamp. I think my Nuvi is not following the route being loaded from BC.

The last trip I verified that the routed uploaded from BC is not being being used my the Nuvi. This is very stressful when towing a camper. In the past it has never been a problem. The only changes I know of are map and firmware updates and possibly a route being calculated in BC with an avoid interstates being checked. My Nuvi does not have an option to avoid interstates. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks

Can we assume you're using the same map both in the device and in BC? If so have you master reset the device, after map updates that can help eradicate weird issues like yours.

Yes using same maps. After I verified the route on the Nuvi was not the route uploaded yesterday, I reset to defaults because the Nuvi was calculating a crazy route home. The reset to defaults left my waypoints and routes but fixed the routing to home. I have not checked to see if uploaded routes are working correctly. I will check for a master reset and give it a try. I only load one trip at a time into my Nuvi. Thanks
