BaseCamp route calculation not correct

I have been noticing the problem for a couple of updates. To day if got firmware and maps updates for my Garmin 3597LM. Same problem still exists. I have tried to attach a screen shot but not sure how the improved attaching works. BaseCamp route calculation is taking side roads that are not shorter or faster. It does the for both Fastest and Shortest routes. I have been noticing the problem when close to home and ignoring the turn instruction. On a 444 mile round trip I started checking the map and notice the problem at least twice on the trip. The attached screen shows the route taking Leon Ricketts Rd. which is a dirt road. This problem caused much stress on my last trip as I was pulling a trailer.

Darn I can't add an attachment, when I manage attachments drag the file in, I see the file but no way to upload.

    Can you describe the points you were trying to route from/to? That way I can look at it for you.

    The turn on Jim Pruitt Rd. leave the main road and goes back to the Cavender Creek on Ricketts RD which is dirt and not even in the turn directions.

    The address given above takes a different route for shortest but fastest shows bad routing. On my trip home, we were following a route and a couple of times requested I take a side road. I did not take the side road and watching the GPS recalculate would re-calculate a shorter distance as much as a mile.

    Definitely a map error and worth reporting to HERE if you have the time, you can submit it via Help, Report map error in the BaseCamp toolbar.

    Strangely it won't take that route if you select the 'avoid residential roads' option, but in either case it shouldn't as it's clearly a longer/slower route, so there are two errors in that area. First, routing you down the dirt road, second even if that road wasn't a dirt road the routing is wrong.
