Transferring Basecamp (Birdseye) files directly to SD card while in unit (Monterra)?

Is it possible to transfer downloaded Birdseye files directly to the SD card while it's still in the GPS unit (Monterra)? I prefer to avoid the hassle and the wear 'n tear on the little SD card door by removing the SD card and sticking it directly into my computer every time I download a file.
