I have two tracks from my hike yesterday that I wanted to combine into one. In Connect they both look correct, they start and stop exactly where I would expect here in the Santa Monica Mountains, in Southern California. I exported each of them separately as GPX files.
When I import them into Basecamp, they look fine, except that there are several locations in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. I was able to edit them out of the tracks and carry on, but I’m wondering if anyone knows what might be going on to cause the error in the first place.
I recorded the tracks with my Fenix 3HR, synced to Connect, exported as GPX and imported into BaseCamp.
