My basecamp currently has the basic map. Is it possible to download the topo from my 64st to basecamp so that I can see it when my device is not plugged in? thanks

The simple answer is no, but there are ways to transfer maps to dismountable or virtual drives so that BC can read the maps from that rather than you having to plug in your device.
