BaseCamp 4.6.3 Is Now Available

The following is a list of changes:

Fixed crash when zooming into raster maps.
Fixed crash when loading a track with sporadic elevation data.
Fixed an installer signature issue...thanks to JaVaWa for finding :)

Hopefully working on a completely redesigned product and user experience. BaseCamp is a train wreck.

Im a little bit afraid Garmin will abandon BaseCamp like they did with BaseCamp Mobile.
It would be nice if they can try some quantum mechanics to implement all features of BaseCamp Windows in BaseCamp Mac

No need to panic!

FWIW: I seem to remember one of the developers some time ago over in the Mac section mentioning that they were going to be spending some significant development time working on the stuff to support their fitness devices and that Basecamp would be on the back burner for a while. So, IMHO there is NO NEED TO PANIC!

Even if Basecamp was not developed any further there are other apps out there that will do essentially the same thing. Alas, most are not as easy to use as BaseCamp but they are out there and available. I still use BaseCamp on both the Mac and Windows but I also use Furkot.com for some things. A Track is a Track and a Route is a Route and you can make them in many different ways.

MapSource is still available for Windows and still works. Even without any development BaseCamp will be around for a long time.
