BaseCamp and TopoMap on Garmin Device

I purchased a GPSMAP 64st that was preloaded with topo maps. How do I transfer the topo maps to BaseCamp? I don't want to hook up the GPS each time to my computer to view the topo maps. Thanks.

There are numerous threads on this. You have 2 options. Create a virtual disk and copy the files to that or copy the files to a memory stick or card, Basecamp will read the map files off them.

Thanks for the reply. I did a search and couldn't find anything, maybe my keywords were not hitting.

I'm not technically savvy enough to understand what you're talking about, but I'll do a search. Thanks again for taking the time to reply.
