Adding Geotags to Routes, photos and text

New to Forums so hope this is correct, I design car routes using Bascamp and would like to add Geotags to my routes (not tracks) and hopefully Geotagged speech. Using iMac, Yosemite ver: 10.10.5 and Basecamp ver: 4.5.1, Can I do this.

I'm not sure what you mean by "geotag" in the context. Typically that means adding geographical reference (lat/lon) to a picture or other media.

Creatie waypoints in BaseCamp and save them to disk as GPX file. Then read all about Garmin poiloader program and how to create a tourguide.

Beside poiloader you need sox as well for all devices which cant play mp3.

Pictures can show, textual explanation, speech and proximity (when to play) are possible.

For zumo, nuvi, dezl, and Montana (of speaker is attached or internal available)
