Spotify CIQ App not working correctly

  • My Spotify sync screen is stuck at 1%. Earlier it was not starting at all and used to get stuck at finding wifi networks. Then I deleted my saved wifi and created an open Hotspot in my mobile and connected the watch to it. Now the sync starts but it is stuck at 1% and the wifi icon in this screen is showing empty bars

    I'm using a oneplus 5 android

    Using a bose soundsport wired

    Forerunner 945 

    Software v4.1 wifi 2.6

    Last time I was able to sync songs was around the time I bought the watch-in December. Since then I have been having issues with sync, often failing at finding wifi networks or stuck at 0% in the Spotify sync screen. Then today morning the update to 4.1 happened and it still is not working

    I'm currently using an open Hotspot from my mobile but I am having issues with all sorts of wifi

  • Thank you for the info, please try updating your watch using Garmin Express to ensure your watch is on the latest software version. If you've tried updating the watch using Garmin Connect App, you may have other items syncing that are preventing the watch from receiving the newest software version or preventing the Spotify App from downloading.

    The library option sometimes is unaccessible and the podcasts are not refreshing.

    The option to add new musics or Podcasts disappeared

    What is happening? (e.g. failing during setup, sync failure, playback failure, etc.)

    Failure during set-up. I'm never given the option to sign-in or sync to spotify. I've tries uninstalling the app, connecting to my PC, and my phone. Nothing works.

    When was the last time Spotify worked correctly?

    Never? I just got the watch

    Does the problem only happen with a specific Audio File?

    My spotify app does not show up on Garmin watch does not give me options to upload music

    This is the exact same problem I have. I have the same exact phone and device and the app never worked. I was never even prompted to sign in.
