There is a new Garmin Virb App update for Android with a button for taking Pictures in addition to the Video Recording switch. After testing it briefly I have noticed that if I flip the camera view from the app, the setting is applied to the video recording, but not for the pictures. The pictures are taken as if the camera view has not been changed.
