Virb Edit 3.1 feed back (Speed Gauge display error)

Now running 3.2 and still troubled

I've received several reads but no replies, typical Garmin! Why bother working on stuff you can't do well especially if fixing stuff is not a priority?

This is a known issue in Elite, and should not happen with VIRB X/XE.

As a work-around, you could try to import the videos manually and then only add the GPX file to the clip. (The bad speed data is in the FIT file VIRB Edit gets from VIRB Elite).

Hello Falagar, tried your suggestion, did not work! Went to my videos and made a copy of the clip, renamed it and did a drag and drop in the create video interface. When I attended to add a speed gauge it said no G-Metrix found. Added the .GPX file and on playback I get the same error in display gauge.

Will this be addressed for those who have multiple Elite cameras or do I need to replace them?

If I have a physical downloaded version of virb edit prior to this glitch, should I go back to it and no longer upgrade?

Sorry about that. For that new clip, if you right-click, Properties, GPS Info do you still see a FIT file?

If so, then you need to clear out your database before importing the video (and GPX file).

1. Close VIRB Edit.
2. Go to C:\Users\{YOUR USERNAME}\AppData\Roaming\Garmin\
3. Rename the 'VIRB Edit' folder to 'VIRB Edit old'
4. Launch VIRB Edit again. It will be 'fresh'.
5. Import the video without the GPS data (like you described in your last post).
6. Add the GPX file.

To reverse what you did:
1. Delete C:\Users\{YOUR USERNAME}\AppData\Roaming\Garmin\VIRB Edit
2. Rename 'VIRB Edit old' back to 'VIRB Edit'
