Hi,

my VIRB Edit Version 2.4.x works fine.
I´ve updated my VIRB Edit to Version 3.1.0.2 and now I cannot use it any longer: it tells me, that I need directx 10 or higher. I definitely have directx 11. The WIN7 is newly installed, too.

Some info of the dxdiag:

my VIRB Edit Version 2.4.x works fine.

    Really????
  • You state that Win7 is newly installed. Is it up to date? Make sure all Windows updates are applied. Have you installed the latest drivers for all the bits in the computer? If no do so.

    Virb edit x windows 10

I appreciate the answer but the problem continues after making procedures sent by you guys of GARMIN.
    I will report what happened:
    1) did windows update 8 for Windows 10
    2) after upgrading the Virb Edit presented the message when trying to play any video: virB edit requires a video card supports que deirectx 10 or higher to export videos
    3) returned to the windows 8 and virB edit functioned normally
    4) I received the answer of you and updated again for windows 10
    5) did the procedures that you guys gave
    6) the Virb Edit again presented the same message and does not work in the play videos

So, what should I do? Give up the windows 10?

Did you look for updated drivers on the graphics card vendor's website? This is usually AMD (for ATI cards), Nvidia or Intel.
