Exported video dimension and quality?

So I'm exporting a video made with my Virb, wich original size is around 2 gb, after adding some basic gauges and doing some minor trimming i go for export, and while i keep the same resolution (1920x1080) and fps (30) of the original one the output video is just 500 mb despite the predictions were saying a video of 2.60 gb would have been created (resolution and fps are correct).

The resulting quality is, as you may have imaged, kinda disappointing especially compared to the original video.

Are there any settings that I can change to better set the compression or the quality of the exported video?
If not then they are really needed and the output file size calculation is bugged

Having export quality configurable by the user is on our to-do list.

Thanks for reply, i'm really looking forward for that update.

The video is made with my Virb basic, and its original quality is really nice, so it's really a turn down that it gets compressed so much.

EDIT: oh so i forgot to add a vital information, the video was shot in low light conditions, so I guess the codec used can't handle well low light parts. But as stated the original video quality was fine and much better compared to the compressed one.

Thankfully, 3.2.0 now lets one chose the desired quality before exporting the video.
