overlays not functioning

Hi there, i am a new user to the virb edit software. read a couple of forum treads but nu resolution to my issue found :(

imported .avi video -> displaying correctly
imported music -> playing fine
imported gps track from garmin 810edge -> seems to be ok as the hartbeat, track, elevation are showing correctly

problem: guages not moving, dot on gps track not moving....

as a test uninstalled version 3.0.1 and installed version 2.9.2 here all is working FINE without any issues....

Did your video come from a Virb camera? There is a known bug in 3.0 where non Virb videos and GPS data don't work together correctly. This issue has been fixed internally and will be available next release.

So I'm using a third-party camera and trying to sync with GPX created with a Zumo 550. But the overlay stays static for each clip. Is this the bug that was created in 3.0.1?

If so, when's the next update likely? Or where can I download 2.9.2? I can't find it on Garmin's site.

PS I would have bought the new Virb if it was available before I left on my travels!

Yes.

VirbEdit 3.1 was just released and should fix this problem. Let me know if it works for you.
