Hi there folks, I hope you guys can help me out.

I'm borrowing a 2nd VirbElite from a friend and did my first front & Back mounted ride. I've noticed that the last 3rd of my 20min ride the Cadence is not what it should be and the speed reading may also be off.

Is there any issues I should know about using 2 VirbElite camera getting speed/cadence data from 1 sensor? Both clips seem to have the data drop out at around the same time but my Garmin edge 800 records everything just fine still.

equipment as listed in my tag below

thanks
  • Hi BROMPTONBUMBLEB,

Using two cameras with a single sensor is no problem at all, and shouldn't be a factor in what you experienced. Can you be a little more specific when you say that the cadence or speed were not what they should be? Does this mean the sensor details dropped, spiked, were really low? I assume both cameras were within the recommended 3m range for ANT+ sensors?

From what I can tell they count up very slowly. Need to see if I can downgrade virbedit to see if it happens in the old version as I'm having issues with time lapse videos not showing the data properly and sticking. With perilous version it was fine
