I got a message telling me I needed Directx 10+ even though I'm using Windows 8.1 which should have 11.2.

I got the same message, saying that I needed it to enjoy the full experience (Windows 8, don't know what bersion of Direct X I have though) clicked ok and kept going. Seems to work ok so far. Will try my Win 7 desktop soon.

Same message when installing, but seems to work fine :)

Thanks for the feedback. The DirectX detection might not be working quite right. We'll take a look.

I really like the new look. Unfortunately, I can't do anything with it because the program crashes as soon as I try to do almost anything.

One interesting point, though: The previous file I'd used that didn't sync GPS across all clips now shows as properly synced, so it must have been saved properly but not displayed.

BTW - I'm running a pretty fresh install of Windows 8.1.

That's not good. Did you update your graphics card drivers from the manufacturer's website?

I started working on a new project and that has not caused crashes, so perhaps it is something in the old project that is causing compatibility issues. I'm just staying away from old ones for now.

But I'd really like to know if I can stretch a GPS file across multiple clips without having to resync the GPS for every clip. Is that possible?

It should be, as long as the timestamps from the camera and the GPS file line up (which isn't always the case, unfortunately).
