I am having a problem with bmp count. I put the HRM graph overlay on the video, the graph itself look fine but the bmp count stuck on 0 bpm.

The HRM graph is corresponding with elevation gain and loss looks correct but no bpm count.

Anyone and help me sort this out please?

Did the VIRB collect heart rate data? Or how did you collect the data?

If like, share your FIT or GPX file and we can take a look if your data contains heart rate information.

I am not where I can get the FIT or GPX right now. But to answer some of your question first.

I have Garmin soft strap HRM and GSC-10 (both came with my Edge 510).

I have take a look at some of the video I took with my Virb Elite again. Seem like intermittent heart rate monitor and cadence. Some part of the video actually do have the display of RPM and BPM, then all of the sudden they all gone back to 0.

FIT file. RPM & BPM has stopped around 7:08 min.

    edited: actually its GPX file.

A quick look at the GPX file shows very sporadic HRM and Cadence connection, what are you using to record (the device information is missing)?

I am using Garmin VIRB Elite to records the HRM and cadence. Both sensors came with my Garmin EDGE 510, Garmin soft strap HRM and GSC-10. Both sensors successfully paired with the VIRB. My EDGE 510 never missed a beat nor the RPM.

I do see the sporadic HRM and cadence you mentioned, I just don't know what caused it.

I'd try recording from the 510 & Virb Elite at the same time and compare overlaying the 510 fit file and the Virb fit file on the video

I have a FIT file from the same ride on 510, how do I compare it? The ride was 2:07 but I do not have 2:07 on the VIRB, ran out of juice 1.5 hour in to the ride.

Not sure how to do this.

Actually I managed to align FIT file from 510 on to the clip from VIRB. Not exact match, maybe off by a second of less. The clip is 23 min and 56 sec in length. I have the RPM and HRM the whole time :)

What does this mean? My VIRB is the problem?

Sounds likely, try re-pairing the Virb with the HRM and Cadence sensors.

I will try it next time out. Thank you for sticking around.
