VirbEdit losing GPS data on crash?

I don't know if this is an existing bug that has already been flagged but this thing has happened to me twice now.

I did a time-lapse video which i had to turn into 2 clips (battery running out & long pauses)

When I import the videos and get it all synced up and ready to export it crashes first time, thats normal and used to it. When I restart VirbEdit one of the clips gps data has disappeared on me. When I check the file properties with VirbEdit there is no .gps file but the .fit is still there. I save export the .fit file shut down & restart virbEdit and then import the .fit file to the video thats lost its data and all is good again.

I'm not sure if this is an issue that someone has already flagged and is already being looked into but I thought I would post something just to be sure.

AAlso cause the video is in too clips the total distance gets divided, any way I cause get the 2 clips to continue datawise so the total distance is shown at the end of the video instead of resetting?

Thanks
