Hi,

exporting transparent images is a great new feature. But using this feature on two different PC i get only a few pictures as result. I´ve tried it with different overlays and films.

What i am doing wrong?

22.04.2015: Same result on a fresh installed Windows 10. Also tried with different gauges and films.

Am i alone with this problem???

What kind of clips are you using. Are they from a VIRB?

I just tried this on my machine, and the feature seems to work well.

They´re from the VIRB. Different resolutions, different gauges, different computers. Are there any smaples with video and fit/gpx to download to try with?

    Thank you in advance!

Do you have a way to share one of those videos and fit/gpx files with me. Maybe via Dropbox? I'd like to try if I can reproduce this.

It looks like I can reproduce the issue. Thank you for providing the data.

I'll let you know once I find the cause, so maybe there is I work-around while we are working on a fix.

We found the bug, and it's pretty embarrassing. Turns out PNG export only works for videos with 30 frames per second. (The standard NTSC framerate, which is what we usually test with here in the US.)

It does not work for 25 frames per second (the PAL frame rate), or any other framerate really (slow-motion, time-lapse, etc.).

So in the short term, you could try recording NTSC videos.

In the medium term we will provide a fix in VIRB Edit. It's already done, and will be in the next release.

    I apologize for the trouble.

    Thank you,

with the knowledge of the cause, I can help me.

Wondering about no complaints from PAL-Users.
