Feature Request: Allow JUST PNG sequence export

Hi

I love the PNG sequence export idea (although it seems to be broken at the moment, I got 50 frames for a 40 minute video) but when I am doing this I don't want or need the video. It is annoying waiting for a long time for the video to render which I will just delete and then have to wait for the PNGs to appear.

I agree that this would be a good feature have, we'll try to make it happen.

@Roaders - I'm curious how you would time-align your gauge overlays with your video in the other application if you didn't have the exported video for reference. I'm guessing you're just exporting a single, un-edited clip?

Yeah, I'd just export the whole clip as a PNG and assume that if the frame rate was the same it would line up in premier pro.

Can you shed any light on why I am only getting around 40 frames at the moment when I try to export to PNG?

I am not sure. Is that behavior consistent regardless of what kind of gauge and what kind of video you are trying to export?

I tried it with a fresh install of Virb Edit (on a freshly built PC actually) with a different set of guages and this time only got 2 PNGs (clip was about 2 minutes long).

Has anyone got this feature to work?

This really is the main reason I want to use Virb Edit rather than Dashware. No need to encode the video twice and lose quality.

Although... A third attempt with a completely different set of guages (bars not dials) did seem to work.

It must be certain guages that fail. The first video I tried is here:

Can anyone get a PNG export to work with those guages?

Older versions of Virb Edit had a time guage that displayed hours, minutes and seconds 10:21:45. With the latest version I am only able to display hours and minutes 10:21... Any suggestions?

My problem also. 5.1.2 at least allows me to edit the gauges, but there is no option for display format editing. I too want to see at least the seconds in my gauge. Even hundreds and thousands would be appreciated, every frame HAS a time, I'd like to see it.
