Issues encountered while reinstalling VIRB Edit

My hard drive was corrupted so I needed to reinstall the VIRB Edit software. My videos were saved to an external drive and were unaffected.

Issues:

1. I can't change the settings until I import an image. This means I can't change the save directory, which may be an issue for people with low disk space or limited permissions on the C drive. The installer does not prompt for a save directory.
2. When I change the import directory, the VIRB Edit software doesn't recognize any of my existing videos. I'm guessing there was some information that was stored about them when I imported them and that was lost when my drive crashed? It seems like this information should be stored with the videos and not in Program Files or the registry. Either way, there should be a way to pull the videos into the software.

Also, the VIRB device itself is quirky. I hooked it up to the USB port as the computer was booting and windows didn't see it until I unplugged it, explictly turned the device off and then plugged it back in.
