Setting Lap start/stop in different locations

I bought my Virb Elite for autocross. Autocross courses start and end in different locations, the laps are not a complete circuit. How do I set the lap timer to start and stop in different locations. I figured out how to get it to start, but can't find where to set the stop location.

thanks,
mike

I am afraid that is not currently supported. Laps are assumed to start and end at roughly the same spot.

ok, thanks. This is probably a useful feature to include in future updates. All sorts of motorsports could utilize such a feature: drag racers, motorcycle enduro racing, road rally, autocross, rally cross, etc.

    Hi

I Sprint and Hillclimb here in the UK - thats pretty much the same as Autocross in the US.

    Open ended courses.

I set the start time by looking at the first movement frame of the car on the start line and then I simply make a calculated guess when flying through the finish line. Difficult to see but by the time I edit I have my overall elapsed time so I can get it to within 0.1 of a sec which is fine. You can state the correct time in the title etc.

My biggest issue is that the GPS sample rate is to slow at 1hz 1/sec.

So on the start you can show an indicated 6 - 9 mph but still be stationary in the video!!!!

I am looking at the new Sony mini cam instead.
